Healers, practitioners + spiritual coaches whose work helps with ALL the things…this one’s for you.
You know the moment. You sit down to post, matcha in hand (or cold matcha, let’s be honest 🙃), and your brain goes: “okay but which ONE do I talk about?!”
Because your work helps with SO much. The sleep AND the anxiety AND the relationship stuff AND the “I don’t feel like myself anymore” stuff. Picking one feels like leaving out everything else that makes your work magic 🫠
So you post about all of it. Or you post about none of it. Or (if you’re more like past me) you post something vague and mystical and then refresh it 14 times wondering why nobody’s biting 🤪
I just got off a 60-minute call with a brand new Method to Your Magic client who was in EXACTLY this spot. And omgggg I’m SO excited for her and her biz 🥹
Her first words to me were “I don’t have a strategy in my head and I just don’t want to post just to post.” Then a little later: “my work covers SO much…it’s tough to pick one symptom.”
SAME, girl. I hear some version of this from almost every practitioner I work with.
So here’s everything we did in that hour, the 5 lessons hiding in it, and exactly how you can use each one on your own work this week 👇🏻

Lesson 1: Lead with what your people are feeling, thinking + saying
My client is a hormone + nervous system practitioner. Her lab results are SUPER specific. Like, “this number at this point in your cycle” specific.
Her people’s pain? Not specific at alllll.
Nobody wakes up thinking “I’d love my cortisol tested today.” They wake up thinking “why am I SO tired when I slept eight hours?!” and “when will my body feel like MINE again?” (the uncensored version my friends say has an f-bomb in the middle 😅)
That’s the gap so many of us fall into. We talk about what we DO (the labs, the modality, the method) because it’s what we’re excited about and what we spent years learning. But your people walk in through what they FEEL.
So here’s the exercise I gave her, and it’s the one I want you to try too:
Picture ONE moment in your person’s day. Not “she’s stressed.” A real scene. Like:
3am. She’s awake again, phone glowing under the duvet, googling “can perimenopause start at 38?” while everyone else sleeps.
Then write two lists:
What she SAYS out loud (”I’m just so tired all the time.” “My doctor says everything looks normal.”)
What she THINKS and would never say (”Am I getting old already?” “Maybe I’m making this all up.” And yes, the “superficial” stuff too, like “I want to feel HOT in my body again, not just functional.”)
That second list? That’s where the juiciest hooks live ✨
✨ PUT THIS LESSON INTO ACTION: Write one scene from your person’s day, then 5 things she says + 5 things she thinks. In her words, not yours.

Lesson 2: Pick 3 women + 3 doors (and who you’re NOT talking to)
Her first instinct was “women 35–45.” Because she didn’t want to exclude anyone. And I get it, I REALLY do.
I had to do this too. I can help coaches AND healers AND creatives AND founders…and I still had to say “spiritual + holistic practitioners whose clients LOVE them, but everybody else scrolls past” out loud and mean it.
Here’s why it matters. “Women 35–45” gets a scroll. Nobody reads that and thinks “oh that’s me.”
But “busy moms who think they might be going through perimenopause but keep hearing their bloodwork is normal”?
That gets “wait…that’s ME.” 🙋🏻♀️
You’ll still get people outside that description. You always do. But specific is what makes the RIGHT people stop.
So I handed her 3 specific women to test:
1️⃣ The questioning one: late 30s to mid 40s, her cycle is changing, her body feels off, and her doctor keeps saying everything’s normal.
2️⃣ The millennial eldest daughter: the one everyone calls, holding the family logistics, the work deadlines and everyone’s feelings…and her brain will NOT switch off at 11pm.
3️⃣ The busy mom: her kids have ALL the energy, and she can barely scrape herself out of bed. 7:15am, coffee number two, still waiting for the fog to lift ☕️
Same work underneath. Three very different women.
Then I gave her 3 doors. A door is the reason she stops scrolling. It’s usually a very specific pain point or desire that lets her know you get EXACTLY what she’s experiencing. And every one of these 3 women could walk through any of them:
🚪 Door 1, SO tired: “why am I this exhausted when I slept eight hours?!”
🚪 Door 2, always on: wired at night, tired all day, and a brain that never clocks out.
🚪 Door 3, the body that won’t budge (+ feeling HOT): same food, same workouts, different body…and she secretly just wants to feel cute, strong and HOT in it again 💋 (never chasing a “before” body)
✨ PUT THIS LESSON INTO ACTION: Write 3 versions of your person, each with one specific moment from their day. Then name 3 doors: the 3 reasons she’d stop scrolling. You don’t have to pick the “right” one yet. That’s what testing is for.

Lesson 3: Make your freebie do triple duty
This is the part I’m MOST excited about for her.
Instead of another PDF guide (which, let’s be real, gets downloaded and never opened), she’s offering a personalized read. They answer a few quick questions (about 4 minutes, mostly taps, on their phone, in bed) and she sends back a read made just for them: their pattern, why it’s happening, and the first 2 things she’d try this week.
Here’s why it’s triple duty:
1️⃣ They feel SEEN. A read about YOU is wayyy more tempting than a generic checklist.
2️⃣ It’s market research. Every answer is your people describing their problem in their own words. Next month’s hooks basically write themselves.
3️⃣ It opens the door to working together. Someone who just got a read that nailed her pattern is already halfway to “how do I work with you?” (and hello, testimonials 💌)
And with AI + a simple template, each read takes her minutes, not hours. Highly personalized, super low effort. That’s the sweet spot.
A few things that make people actually WANT to fill it out:
Name a result they can feel (”why you can’t get up at 6am,” not “hormone assessment”).
Make it about them (”a personal read on YOUR pattern”).
Make it feel tiny (”takes about 4 minutes”).
Promise exactly what lands, and when (”in your inbox within 3 days”).
✨ PUT THIS LESSON INTO ACTION: Add one question to whatever your people fill out: “Finish this sentence: I used to be able to ___, and now I can’t.” Copy the answers straight into your hooks.
Pssst…want to see a triple-duty freebie in action? 👀 That’s exactly what my Body of Work X-Ray is. You answer a few questions about your work and I send you back a personalized read on your body of work + business model: what I see hiding in there, why the right people aren’t getting it yet, and where I’d start. Totally free and SO much value, if I do say so myself 😏 DM me X-RAY on Instagram (@lexidangelo) and I’ll send it your way.

Lesson 4: 3 women × 3 doors = 9 angles (+ get your reps in before you judge anything)
This is the hardest part, bb. And it’s where most of us bail.
One post this week and one next week tells you NOTHING (it’s basically a coin flip 🪙).
So we built her a 3×3. Three women down the side, three doors across the top = 9 angles to test. Every square gets its own hooks, in a long version AND a short one, so she can test length too.
There’s no one right way to run it. She can go one door at a time (all three women through “tired,” then “always on,” then “the body”), one woman at a time, or just post whichever square excites her that day and let the scoreboard show the pattern. The only rule is to START putting things out there.
On her feed, that’s 2–3 posts a week for the people who already follow her. And for strangers, trial reels: same hook, same caption, a different video each time, a bunch a day in a 10-day sprint.
Then we look at three things: who commented, who filled out the read, and the exact words they used back.
The woman + door combo that pulls hardest becomes her front door, and we sharpen it together. (And there’s a whole line of next doors waiting: brain fog, the short fuse, “your bloodwork came back normal”…)
And the rule: no scrapping anything before day 10. A slow first week is just…a first week.
✨ PUT THIS LESSON INTO ACTION: Sketch your own 3×3 on a napkin. Pick your first square, write one long hook + one short hook for it, and post it this week, even when it feels crunchy.

Lesson 5: Build it around what lights YOU up
Before we even touched messaging, we looked at her business model. Because the best front door in the world won’t help if what’s behind it drains you.
She’d tried a bunch of things. Labs-only consults (people got their recommendations and then…disappeared). Deep 12-week 1:1 work (perfect for that one client, but every week she was reinventing the wheel). Late-night group lectures (everyone was exhausted, nobody engaged, and she was talking to herself for an hour 😩).
What she LOVES? The hormone testing. Recording content she can prep for. And the dream underneath it all: a space where women heal TOGETHER.
So we built her group program around exactly that, in a very intentional, strategic way. The testing happens mostly offline, with one call to walk through results. Short daily practices people can do in about 10 minutes. One live call a week for their real questions. And people can join anytime, so she’s not waiting on a launch to help someone.
Sounds simple enough…but there’s a deeeep strategy woven in underneath the surface (that’s the stuff I’m teaching inside Method to Your Magic).
✨ PUT THIS LESSON INTO ACTION: List the parts of your work that fill you up and the parts that drain you. Design your next offer from the first list.

And because I don’t f*ck around with my clients…
I didn’t leave her with a to-do list + a hug lolol.
By the end of the day I’d handed her a juicy resource: the whole 3×3 with all 9 angles, long + short hooks for every single square, the questions for her read, the next doors lined up AND a scoreboard to track it all.
So there’s nooo “wtf do I post or test?” this week. Just execution + reps 📈
Here’s a tiiiny peek 👀
